Hats Off! Lynne Brick, Owner, Brick Bodies Fitness Services, received a Red Cross of Central Maryland Hometown Heroes award. This honor recognizes local citizens and organizations that have worked in extraordinary ways to help others. 

Ascend One Corporation hired Mark Westerman as their new chief marketing. Prior to joining Ascend One, Westerman worked for West33 Consulting Group in Owings Mills, where his clients included US Army (goarmy.com), Velocity Sports Performance, VS Sports Marketing, Aspen Fashion Week and Williams and Williams Auctions.  

IWIF is a sponsor for the first annual Maryland Workers’ Memorial 5k Run/1 Mile Walk on Saturday, April 30 in Hunt Valley. The event honors Maryland workers who were seriously injured or lost their lives in workplace accidents. Proceeds from this event will help raise funds for Kids’ Chance Incorporated scholarships.
