BBB sends its condolences to the friends and family of Anna Frances “Bobbie” Radebaugh, Radebaugh Florist & Greenhouses. Mrs. Radebaugh died on July 22 of complications from a stroke at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Towson. She was 88. Preceding her death, Mrs. Radebaugh worked with her husband in their family-owned florist and greenhouse for over 60 years.

Howard Bank has been preliminarily approved to receive an investment of up to $12.5 million from a federal program designed to get community banks to increase lending to small businesses. If Howard Bank gets final approval, it would be the first Baltimore-area bank to participate in the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Small Business Lending Fund.

Congratulations! Mary Ann Scully, CEO, Howard Bank has been elected chairwoman of the Maryland Bankers Association. Scully was also recognized in the Baltimore Business Journal as a 2011 Enterprising Woman.
