HR Anew Receives Back-to-Back SmartCEO Future 50 Awards

Baltimore SmartCEO magazine, recently announced HR Anew, Incorporated as a winner of the SmartCEO Future 50 Award which profiled HR Anew and Deborah Stallings, President and Chief Executive Office of the Columbia, Maryland-based firm along with other winners. Stallings appears on the cover of the January 2009 issue of the magazine and has now won the award for the second year in a row.

The Future 50 program recognizes the 50 fastest growing companies in the Greater Baltimore area based on employee and revenue growth. This year’s Future 50 winners collectively employ 5,500 people, and generate over $2 billion in revenue. Winners were recognized at the Baltimore SmartCEO Future 50 event in January at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel.

In addition to this year’s Future 50 Award, HR Anew and Stallings have received several awards including the 2009 and 2007 Maryland’s Top 100 Women – The Daily Record; 2008 Future 50 Business Achievement; 2008 and 2006 Maryland Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise – The Daily Record and the Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs; 2008 Human Resource Leadership Award of Greater Washington; 2007 Women in Business Champion – U.S. Small Business Administration; 2007 Business Achievement – Howard County Economic Development Authority; 2007 BRAVO Business Achievement – Baltimore SmartCEO Magazine; and 2006 Maryland’s Top 100 Minority Businesses and 2006 Maryland Top 50 8a firms – Diversity Business.

MD Performance Excellence Awards Program Announces Recipients of MD Quality Awards

 

The University of Maryland’s Maryland Performance Excellence Awards Program, in conjunction with U.S. Senators Barbara Mikulski and Benjamin Cardin, today announce the winners of the prestigious Maryland Quality Awards.

These awards honor role-model organizations that successfully implement systematic processes for continuous improvement and achieving outstanding results. Award recipients are evaluated rigorously by an independent board of examiners using the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence, which measure an organization in seven areas: leadership; strategic planning; customer and market focus; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; workforce focus; process management; and results.
