Congratulations to Miller’s
Minuteman Press as finalists for Maryland Chamber of Commerce 2010 Small
Business of the Year Award. The winners will be announced on June 3,
during the Small
Business of the Year Awards Luncheon.
Rheb’s
Candies, a Baltimore based confectionary retailer, was profiled in
SmartCEO’s May edition. The third generation, family operation has been
in business for nearly 100 years. Despite the change in times, business
operations remain the same, “We’re still using the original recipes and doing
things the traditional way. And we continue to pride ourselves on quality,
service and value,” said owner Wynn Hager.

Creek Window and Jason Goldsmith of Carchex
were recognized as 2010 SmartCEO Circle of Excellence Winners. The CEOs
were acknowledged for exemplary customer service and young entrepreneurship,
respectively.
