McCormick & Co. Inc. announced that general counsel Robert W. Skelton will retire on January 1st and company veteran W. Geoffrey Carpenter will succeed him.  Skelton has worked for McCormick for 32 years and has helped model McCormick’s core values of integrity, hard work and compassion. 

 

Recently Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP was announced as number one ranked Law firm in Baltimore, Maryland, by The American Lawyer Student Edition.  They achieved a rating of 4.890 compared to the median score of 4.663. 

 

Lynne Brick, co-founder and owner of Brick Bodies Fitness Services Inc, has been inducted into the Business Hall of Fame. Lynne is an internationally acclaimed fitness expert who has won many awards for her success in the Baltimore area including “Top 100 Women in Maryland” by the Daily Record three times. Brick Bodies Fitness Services Inc, is the 13thy largest women-only business in the Baltimore area and provides consulting services for health clubs and fitness professionals and produces exercise videos.

 

Travel Advantage Network has reached out to the MISS Foundation to help support families who have lost a child from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). TAN held raffles and received contributions from company employees, raising $750.00, despite difficult economic times.


Project Masters joined a group of growing businesses, they ranked in at #9 in a list of 50, as one of the fastest growing private companies in the Baltimore area. To qualify the company had to have a minimum of $100,000 in 2006 revenue and must have been in business for at least 2 full years. Project Masters is a project management training and consulting firm that got its start 12 years ago. The company is owned by April O'Koren and became a BBB Accredited Business this past year.
