The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has enchanced its DMAChoice program, allowing you to have your name removed from the mailing lists of individual brands for free. Just go to www.dmachoice.org. The DMAChoice website lets you modify your mail and e-mail preferences so you can get the mail you want, and discontinue what you don't.
Upon registering, you will be asked to validate your identity and mailing address with a credit card; however, you will not be charged. Your information will not be used for marketing purposes and the information you submit is done through a secure site. This validation process is the only secure method to validate your identity and mailing address.
DMA’s Mail Preference Service is the official mail preference suppression service for the catalog community and is supported by the United States Postal Service.
The Direct Marketing Association advocateS standards for responsible marketing, promotes relevance as key to reaching consumers with desirable offers, and provides cutting edge research to improve results throughout the direct marketing process.
