Trust Is Broken: Business Accreditation Revoked!

The businesses listed below are former BBB Accredited Businesses. Accreditation to these companies was revoked by our Board of Directors.

To become or to sustain accreditation in your BBB, a company must accept and abide by our Code of Business Practices. Qualifying businesses are held to higher standards, so that you can have confidence in purchasing their products or services. BBB Accredited Businesses have promised to be accountable to you and to us. And, when they do not uphold their end of the bargain, we’ll report them to you, as we’re doing here.

To maintain accreditation, a business must:

·         respond promptly to all consumer disputes regarding your purchase of products or services

·         stay complaint-free, or not exceed an acceptable (low) level of complaints, and may not establish a pattern of complaints (example – bait & switch sales tactics)

·         have up-to-date industry licenses as required by local, state and federal authorities

·         follow BBB principles for ethical business and fair advertising

·         not be subject to government action regarding their marketplace or customers

Accredited Businesses that fail to operate according to our standards for your trust are suspended. Upon our Board of Directors’ approval, their accreditation is revoked. You can find a report of these businesses here for approximately one year from the date we revoke their accreditation. To look for more information about these companies, we have provided links to their Business Reports for your convenience.
